English: Mahmudul Hasan Mahim was born on 12th January 2006 on the holy day of Eid-ul-Azhar in traditional village Mulaid under Sripur upazila of Gazipur district. His ancestral home is Barachala village of Sripur upazila. His father's name is Md. Zakir Hossain. Mother's name is Mahmuda Akhter Jamina His first book of poetry is 'Ankit Sarkatha'.

He has been writing since his student days.  Poet Mahim came into the limelight by reciting his poem 'School Story' in a school cultural program during his seventh grade.  The motivation of his classmates played a major role in this.  Later, besides writing in various dailies, his audience and readership has been developed across the country due to the welfare of social media.

Poet Mahmudul Hasan Mahim is known as 'Protestant Poet' due to his revolutionary writing in the contemporary context. In 2021 and 2022, this young poet won the Alokita Gazipur best writer award consecutively. He passed his secondary with honors in 2023 from 'Mulaid Central High School'. Currently (2024) he is engaged in versatile literary work besides studying at Gazipur Cantonment Public School and College.
